I live in Southwest Florida with my son, two cats and one dog who pretends he's a cat to fit in. I own and manage an independent bookshop. I like to read, obviously, and I read a lot of science fiction (especially Neil Gaiman). I also like to sew and usually make historical costumes. Although I was born in Sonoma, California, I went to Hillsdale College (Class of '06) where I majored in economics.
